Dukan Drinking Water Treatment Plant SCADA System
In 2009, Prizma Group Automation installed Dukan Drinking Water Treatment Plant SCADA System in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The SCADA System consists of the following components:
• Dukan Drinking Water Treatment SCADA Center,
• Pump Stations PLC Units,
• Filter Buildings PLC Units,
• Mixers, Clarifiers&Flocculators PLC Units,
• Chemical Buildings PLC Units,
• Energy Centers PLC Units,
• Fiber optic and GPRS Based Communication Infrastructure.
The servers are installed in redundant architecture by utilizing Schneider Electric Vijeo Citect 7.0 SCADA software in the control centers and the following systems are used as hardware:
• Schneider Electric Quantum, M340 PLCs,
• Schneider Electric Advantys Remote I/O,
• Siemens S7-300 PLCs and Remote I/Os,
• Multimode Fiber Optic Switches and GPRS Modems.
